In order to really enjoy your dog, you dont merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point is to open yourself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
Obedience Training
What makes a good relationship between dog and handler? In a word RESPECT. Respect for each other. Through respect for the handler, the dog will return on command, stay where he or she is placed and in general, be a joy to be with.
We teach the handler how to achieve this standard without cruelty or intimidation towards their dog. We teach the handler how to tap into the dog's way of thinking and so build a life long friendship built on trust and kindness.
We teach three levels of obedience, all to Kennel Club standards, starting with Elementary and progressing through to Advanced whereby the dog remains under control whilst at liberty. The partnership will receive a certificate and rosette to mark their level of success.
Classes are kept to a maximum of six handlers in order to ensure quality of instruction and the classes do not exceed thirty minutes in duration as the best policy when it comes to training your dog is little and often.
One to one sessions are also available upon request.
